For many industry leaders and their employees, the most effective and time efficient way to stay up-to-date with new technology, products, and developments is to attend conferences or other forums in which there is a targeted audience of like-minded professionals.
CIFS-IPP recognizes the important benefits of coming together around specific themes or industry-relevant topics. We leverage the unique strengths and multidisciplinary expertise of CIFS Faculty Fellows to provide our members with unique, innovative, and timely programs and learning opportunities.
CIFS-IPP members enjoy invitations (at no charge) to specialty conferences organized by Cornell faculty, such as the Northeast Dairy Foods Research Center Annual Symposium and the Annual Symposium and the Annual Molecular Methods in Food Microbiology Symposium and Workshop.
Additionally, the Food Science Seminar Series, a series of afternoon lectures throughout the fall and spring semesters, is available live via webinar and as recordings posted on theCIFS-IPP.
The Current Topics in Food Science Series is offered to CIFS-IPP members during several webinars per year and covers key topics identified by members during the annual Cornell Food Systems Global Summit. Webinars may also present research findings or ongoing research projects by CIFS Faculty Fellows.
