Cornell University is passionate about its Land Grant Mission and has a strong heritage of outreach and education in New York State, the nation, and the world.
Building upon this tradition, CIFS-IPP strives to enhance the skill set of today’s workforce by developing workshops and seminars on critical technical topics that support a broad array of stakeholders, including employees of our CIFS-IPP member companies. Additionally, we respond directly to industry needs by offering custom, on-site training as well as hands-on experience in Cornell’s many laboratories.
CIFS-IPP members may send employees to over 50 existing programs, trainings, and workshops covering a range of topics:
- Dairy Processing & Safety
- Fruit, Vegetable, and Juice Processing and Safety
- Beer & Brewing
- Food Safety
CIFS-IPP members receive early announcements for workshops as well as easier access for planning custom, on-site training at member facilities. Also, exclusively available through CIFS-IPP, members can spend a day in a Cornell lab learning new and cutting-edge techniques.
